Vettel is the youngest World Champion in Formula 1. He also has the third most race victories (53) and podium finishes (122) and the fourth most pole positions (57). Vettel started his Formula One career as a test driver for BMW Sauber in 2006, making a one-off racing appearance in 2007.
But it was in 1994 that with Benetton, he won his first world title after a fierce season long battle with Damon Hill and thereby became one of the youngest world champions ever. He was just 25 years old at the time, beaten to the record by Fittipaldi, who was just a few weeks older at the time of his title victory.
